We continue to establish the Ojai Senior Cup as one of the West Coast’s premier Senior Amateur Championships.

The tournament is a 54-hole competition with Senior (55+, 7.4 max index) and Super Senior (65+, 8.0 max index) Divisions. Those aged 65+ may choose to play in the Senior Division. Players must meet the age requirement by the last day of the tournament, October 23, 2022.

Schedule

Friday, October 21

Round 1 will be played at the beautifully-restored Soule Park Golf Course. Tee times start at 9:00 am, and there will be a players reception after the round in Zaidee's Bar & Grill overlooking the golf course

Saturday, October 22

Round 2 will be at the historic Ojai Valley Inn, with tee times starting at 7:30 am

Sunday, October 23

The final round will be back at Soule Park with tee times starting at 8:00 am. A players reception and an awards presentation will be take place immediately after play concludes

Soule Park Golf Course

After a flood-induced renovation by Gil Hanse in 2006, Soule Park has grown to become recognized as one of the state's greatest public golf experiences.

In 2022, Soule Park Golf Course will also host:

• SCGA Senior Four-Ball Championship
• U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifier
• California Senior Amateur Championship Qualifier

Ojai Valley Inn

Among many accolades, the George Thomas/Billy Bell designed Ojai Valley Inn hosted seven PGA TOUR Champions events. The course was built in 1923 and has storied history as one of the greats in Southern California.

SCGA Player of the Year

To determine the SCGA Senior Player of the Year, the Ojai Senior Cup has been awarded the highest ranking points level among non-SCGA/USGA events: SCGA Senior POY - Ojai Senior Cup
